FLM COAXIAL DUCT SYSTEMS
FLM Coaxial
Duct Systems are provided as a means to provide outside make-up air directly to commercial Tumblers. This is done primarily to eliminate negative air pressure within the building, reduce energy consumption,
and improve Tumbler performance.
The Coaxial Duct Systems is fabricated from galvanized steel. The
inner exhaust duct section shall be fabricated from a minimum 20 gauge galvanized steel.
The outer intake duct shall be fabricated from a minimum 18 gauge galvanized steel for all Coaxial Ducts Systems The
Coaxial Duct System shall have a by-pass duct which will duct the pre-heated outside make-up air directly into the Tumble
The system consists of two separate ducts
The inner exhaust duct which comes from the tumbler. The inner
exhaust duct shall terminate with a flange connection,
for connecting to the exterior exhaust duct which will run to the Lint Collector. Outer intake duct which extends to the atmosphere
approximately 3’0” above the roof level. The outer intake duct shall
be secured to the inner exhaust duct by a series of fins, which shall run longitudinally for the entire length of the coaxial
duct run.
Also included, is the burner intake ducting, which
will duct the outside, pre-heated air, directly into the burner intake.
A weather Shield –will be installed above the roof curb
